Can you keep praying mantises communally?Praying mantises are solitary predators in the wild and aren't ever truly communal. This doesn't mean you can't do it, though. Follow these rules to optimize a communal mantis setup: - Don't house highly aggressive species together (Sphodromantis, Pnigomantis, etc). - Give each mantis sufficient space and perching areas. - Keep an abundance of food in the enclosure. - Keep similarly sized mantises, and same sex, together. Ultimately you only do a communal if you are willing to possibly lose some of your mantises.

How long does an order take to process? If ordering a mantis(es), it can take up to three days to process before shipping. You can't always just ship a living animal at a moment's notice. I want to make sure your mantis is fed and I dont suspect an imminent molt, among other things. If purchasing JAX Mantis merchandise, it can take up to a week before your things are shipped out because they are made to order by a third party distributor.
